For Jasmine Delaney, Home and Away has hinted at a potential new baby storyline. In Wednesday’s episode on Australian screens (November 4), Jasmine spoke about the possibility of becoming a mother, hinting that she wanted it to happen sooner rather than later.
The nurse confided in Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), her neighbor, who found out that she was not in a relationship at the moment. Jasmine (Sam Frost) indicated that this would not actually be a consideration, as she could follow in the footsteps of Tori Morgan by asking a friend to be her baby’s father.
Two years ago, audiences saw Tori enter a co-parenting agreement with Robbo Shaw, which eventually led to baby Grace ‘s birth. “Jasmine told Irene in the latest scenes:” Maybe I should also try IVF. I think there was a reason why I thought I was pregnant. It was a sign. Maybe it’s time for me to have my own baby.
If it can be achieved by Tori, I can, too. Everything I need is a donor.’ Jasmine later decided that the best person to ask would be Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin), realizing how much she trusted him.
Unfortunately, just as Jasmine was about to speak to Colby about the possibility, she got a massive shock as Angelo Rosetta finally arrested the crooked policeman for Ross Nixon ‘s murder.
Colby was publicly seized at the Diner by Angelo, hoping that he would finally have enough evidence to secure conviction against his enemy.
Suddenly, the odds of Jasmine and Colby having a child together look slim, but should Jas still look at other alternatives?
The Australian broadcasts of Home and Away are actually running one month ahead of those in the UK.
